AVALANCHE RECORDS - ALBUM CLUB PARTY!!!

To celebrate the 6th installment of the album club we are hosting a wee shindig at the caves. entry is £3 in Advance or £5 on the door. How dare you grumble at those prices.

THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS
Whose album has been chosen for the next instalment of the album club, will play a full set.

We also have some rather special guests who have had their arms twised so that they agree to turn up, plug in and play till they cry.

BROKEN RECORDS
Avalanches very own Jamie is playing a solo acoustic set (please note that solo acoustic set may include electric guitars and other members of the band... but still expect it to be a rather loevely stripped down set)

SAINT JUDE'S INFIRMARY,
Not sure what exciting things they have instore for you... I do know they are a few members down so they may try things a bit different from usual.

MEURSAULT
Solo show, Powerful vocals, electronic laptop blippery, maybe he will even play that wee guitar again... who knows.

Either way you look at it, there are 4 rather fine acts all for the bargain price of £3 (in advance) so you dare not complain.

Tickets available from Avalanche Records!!!

oh, and if you are interested, you can still join up to the album club. just ask instore for more details. You know, when you come to buy the tickets for this gig.

Ooh la la, The French Wives will be playing a last minute gig in Avalanche Records on Sunday at 5pm, they will also play at sneaky petes the same day... but why pay when you can come to avalanche, buy their single then get back home and watch the Antiques Roadshow or the X-factor results if you mental.

this is what those pesky kids at the list have to say about them... Coming from the same mould of sunshine boy/girl pop of Belle and Sebastian and Camera Obscura that the usually dreich and dour Glasgow seems to embrace. Perfect for woolly jumpers your nan made, leaf tea and walking barefoot in Kelvingrove Park

So that is Sunday 1st November at 5pm

Here is local boy Withered Hand performing live in the shop

Here we see a straggle of shy retiring types trying to get you to support your local record shop...
