Friday 24 July 2009

Rough Cut Nation, the National Portrait Gallery and Avalanche Records has produced a programme of live music performances. These free shows feature diverse new acts, including bands and DJs, and will take place in the exhibition space of The National Portait Gallery itself. Capacity is limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The Rough Cut Café will be open throughout the exhibition in the Great Hall of the Portrait Gallery. Each piece of furniture is painted by individual artists from the show and will feature in the auction on the final day of the exhibition, Sunday 30 August. All proceeds will go to the artists.
